Welcome to my website! My name is Katie Gusmano. I am the Student Assistance Counselor and the Dignity Act Coordinator at Berea Elementary School.
My primary goals as the Student Assistance Counselor are to:
- Advocate for students to help them succeed in school
- Provide preventive services
- Provide crisis intervention services
I work with parents and teachers to figure out how best to support students. I perform individual counseling with students and facilitate group counseling sessions. I also coordinate our Character Education Program.
