READING- students will
- recite the name and sound of the blend- 'BR'
- read sentences with any word wall words:
- read cut up sentence (M.R.)
- read a student's dictated sentence (M.W.)
- read classroom charts (S.R.)- participate during Interactive Read-Alouds
MATH- students will
- count by ordinals or numbers, every day
- complete 'daily math' problems for fluency
- count to 100 by 10's, every day
- work with manipulatives
- draw a picture and write the correct number sentence for the math word problems that Mrs. Spies reads to the class
WRITING- students will write
- the letters of the alphabet
- their first and last name
- a sentence
- interactively with their teacher
- during writing workshop
LANGUAGE ARTS- students will show&tell...
- daily math word problems
- completed morning work
- 'writing workshop' work
SCIENCE- students will observe & participate- about the arrival of summer
SOCIAL STUDIES- students will make observations - about moving on to first grade
HOMEWORK- all done
