Welcome to the 2012-13 school year at Valley Central High School. My name is Frank Jordan, and I am one of two high school psychologists. I have served the district as a psychologist, coordinator of the high school's Peer Leadership program, and the varsity softball coach since 1997. This will be my seventeenth year at Valley Central High School. I have a Bachelors degree from Stony Brook University and obtained my Masters degree from St. John's University. My roles as a school psychologist include but are certainly not limited to the following: Committee on Special Education Chairperson Special education evaluations and services Individual and Group Counseling Parent and Teacher Consultations Screening Assessments Crisis Intervention I am involved in several building level support teams including: Section 504 Chairperson Child Study Team Instructional Support Team Crisis Intervention Team In addition to these roles, I would be happy to help you secure community based assistance if you should need it.
