Jazz Band
The Jazz Band is a smaller more select group. Instrumentation calls for Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones and a rhythm section consisting of piano, electric guitar, bass guitar and drum set. Placement in this band is determined by student auditions held during of September of this school year. Uniforms for this group are black pants, VCMS Jazz Band Polo Shirt, black shoes. Expected NYSSMA Performance Level 3-4. Jazz Band will rehearse Pre-Session on: Wednesday & Friday
