Students in the third, fourth and fifth grades at Berea Elementary School celebrated the school’s inaugural passport day on May 17.
Each grade level was assigned a different continent. Third-grade students selected countries from Africa and Asia, fourth-grade students chose countries from Europe, and fifth-grade students picked from South America and Australia. Each student researched his or her chosen country and produced an exhibit to share.
Each student confidently narrated information about their chosen country and dressed up in traditional outfits. During the event, family members strolled the aisles of exhibits, taking a virtual trip around the world with their children.
