For families and children with special needs...Your child’s education develops through a partnership between home, community, & school!

We offer both a parent support group and a social skills group to assist families with their child’s developmental & educational needs.

  • Parent Circle - a support and infomational

group for families of students with disabilities

(such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down

    Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, or Learning

    Disabilities). These meetings provide assis-

    tance with various challenges encountered,

as well as a forum to celebrate talents and

strengths. The Parent Circle is a supportive

and friendly place where parents or guardians

are welcome to share their experiences

and questions, or to just listen.

  • Kid Circle is a social skills group for students

(ages 7– 15) to develop appropriate social skills.

This program is offered at the same time

in the evening as the Parent Circle meeting in

order for your children to play and interact with

peers. Kid Circle is hosted by volunteer teachers,

    related service providers, and counselors.

Meetings are held once monthly at the

Alternative Learning Center @ Maybrook 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

(located at 120 Broadway, Maybrook NY )
