May 15th: Superintendent’s Conference Day ~ No School for Students
This change was approved at the March 13, 2023, BOE meeting.
May 26th: Make-up Day for 4th Snow Day
Approved February 2022
March 14, 2023, was the fourth snow day used by the District. In accordance with the 2022-2023 Calendar, Friday, May 26th is the required make-up day for that snow day. At this time, parents/guardians, students, and staff should plan on attending school on Friday, May 26th.
However, a local State of Emergency was declared by Ulster County at 4:00 AM on March 14th making it impossible for our bus fleet to run since the bus company’s base is in Ulster County. The District has asked for NYS to waive the make-up requirement for May 26th since we would not have been able to run our buses. Until we have a decision from the state about this matter, everyone should plan that school will be in session on May 26th. Should we receive the waiver we have applied for, we will update everyone on this matter.
