Homecoming Successful!

Homecoming returned to Valley Central High School this year.  A pep rally to celebrate fall sports teams was held prior to the traditional Powder Puff contest which pits the Juniors against the Seniors in a touch football game that was held under the lights of the football stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 29th.

On Friday, October 1st the Homecoming Game took place where our Vikings faced off against Minisink Valley.

The traditional Homecoming dance was quite nontraditional as it was held entirely outdoors, and in two sessions.  The freshmen and sophomore portion of the dance was held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, October 2nd and the Junior Senior portion of the dance was held from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturday, October 2nd.  The weather was on the warmer side for fall and there was no hint of rain so all the students who attended were able to enjoy a night under the stars with their friends.
