Orange-Ulster BOCES honors the county’s humanity scholars for distinguishing themselves in literature, language, philosophy, visual arts, theater, dance, or music.
Daniel Teutul is the president of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and tenor 2 section leader of the Chamber Choir. During his four years of high school, Dan has been a vital member of the music department taking many vocal classes as well as Drama I, II, and III. He is a member of the Shakespeare Club, Voxtone’s Acapella Group, and has participated in the NYSSMA Music Festival.
He debuted in his first VCHS Musical with a supporting role in Mary Poppins. He was also in the productions of Once Upon A Mattress, Anything Goes, and The Music Man.
Dan will be attending NYU Tisch School for the Arts this fall in NYC majoring in theater education.
Kat is an AP art student and a member of the National Art Honor Society. She has taken five art courses and has participated in Revelation, the school’s Art and Literary Magazine. She was involved this year in NART’s project offering art classes to younger students.
Kat will be attending SUNY New Paltz with a major in Fine Arts.
