May 26th to Remain Part of Memorial Day Holiday Weekend

Usually, if the District uses a fourth snow day, we have to make it from a planned day off in the calendar.  However, this year there was a state of emergency declared by Ulster County on our fourth snow day, March 14th, and our buses could not run.  The District applied for a waiver from the state due to these circumstances and we have been waiting to hear if  Friday, May 26th would become a regular school day due to the use of four snow days.  After conversations with NYSED, we are happy to share that the District will not be in session on Friday, May 26th.  The District will be closed as originally planned.

As a reminder, May 15th is a Superintendent’s Conference Day for all staff.  Students will not be in session.
