What is the PTO?PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. We are a group of dedicated parents and faculty at Walden Elementary School working together to promote the very best in academic opportunities for our students. We organize and promote programs that will enrich our students' curriculum and make learning interactive and fun! The PTO funds special assembly programs, field trip transportation, kindergarten welcome packages, family fun events, and more! We have been able to purchase a rock climbing wall for the gym, a Star Lab planetarium, a stage and playground equipment for WES. Every time you support a PTO fundraiser by purchasing something, donating items, supporting the book fair and picture day, or by volunteering your time at an event, you become a very important part of our dedicated team. How to Join the PTOA form is sent home at the beginning of the school year.
