Nov. 3, 2016 - VCHS and VCMS host annual college and career fair

students browse the college and career fair  Career and college choices are some of the most important decisions an individual will make in their lifetime. That’s why, at Valley Central School District, the conversation about careers and the exploration of different pathways to attain those careers starts in middle school. Each year, high school and middle school students have the opportunity to speak with representatives from different colleges, trade schools, careers and government service agencies during the schools’ annual College and Career Fair.


Approximately 130 representatives lined Valley Central High School’s gymnasium on Thursday, Nov. 3 to answer students’ questions about everything from career paths and education options to financial aid and class sizes.

Representative s from area businesses and organizations brought hands-on displays to demonstrate to students what a typical “day-in-the-life” looks like in a variety of career paths.
