The Spanish Honor Society inducted its members on November 8th with a ceremony at 7:00 pm and a reception that followed.
The Spanish Honor Society is an academic honor society that incorporates learning a new language as well as learning about the various Spanish-speaking cultures and acknowledging other cultures exposing students to the world around them. Students must have an overall average of 88% or higher and 90% or higher in Spanish. Members of the honor society are dedicated to promoting world language learning. Included in SHS activities are tutoring and the popular Sweetheart Serenades. Members of the honor society recognize the World Language Department for guiding them through their high school world language journey.
