Spectator Guidelines for Fall (2) Sports

The Valley Central School District will be following the Section IX Spectator Policy for Indoor Sporting Events (Girls Swimming and Diving and Girls Volleyball) which is as follows: 

In an attempt to keep athletic events up and running, no spectators will be allowed at any indoor venue on or off of school property.  Valley Central will be live streaming the home indoor sporting events. A link to our live stream events can be found here. 

The Valley Central School District will be following the Section IX Spectator Policy for Outdoor Sporting Events (Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Soccer, and Tennis) which is as follows:

Outdoor events will allow spectators based on the recommendations of the NYS Department of Health. A maximum of two (2) spectators per athlete will be permitted. All spectators must maintain social distancing and are required to wear a mask, covering the nose and mouth, at all times. Family members will be permitted to sit next to each other. 

Spectators must follow all guidelines to remain at events.

Below is the current list (3.3.2021) of other School Districts permitting two (2) spectators per athlete when planning to attend an away contest:

Washingtonville Central School District

The list of districts permitting visitor spectators may change throughout the season. Please check that the host district is still permitting visitors before leaving for the event.
