VC A Capella groups compete in ICHSA Northeast Competition

Three VC A Capella Groups Compete

This year, despite the global pandemic, the 16th season of Varsity Vocals ICHSA tournament will take place in a fully virtual style. The Valley Central High School Voxtones, Valley Central High School Valkyries and Valley Central Middle School Viking Voices will be among nearly 3,000 performers in 193 groups from high schools (and ONLY middle school) across 30 states and two countries!

On Friday March 12 at 7pm, the video competition was live-streamed on YouTube. Each VC group  competed in separate quarterfinal sections against various schools in the Northeast.
While none of our groups placed, we are proud of them and their amazing talent.

Singer/Songwriter/Capitol Records recording artist Britt Nicole (she is the artist who wrote one of the songs that the Viking Voices sing in their music video) sent a video wishing the kids luck in their competition.
