On March 10th, the VCHS Symphonic Band under the direction of Mr. Walker, the VCHS Wind Ensemble under the Direction of Mrs. Budryk and the Voxtones & Valkyries acapella groups under the direction of Mr. Glodich were selected to perform at the New York State School Music Associations (NYSSMA) month-long event in Albany celebrating Music in our Schools month at the Empire State South Concourse. Students enjoyed taking their music “on the road” to perform for an audience off campus. Other highlights of the day were watching performances from other districts from across NYS and of course, lunch!
