This ceremony recognized VCMS model citizens, students trying to do their best, students who have changed their attitudes in a positive manner, students who have improved in class, or something else extraordinary. The awards recognized Perseverance, Kindness, and Compassion. Students could be given an award by any staff member at VCMS. Refreshments for the evening were provided by VC Middle School PTA.
