The Valley Central Music Department participated in the NYSSMA Majors Festival on May 16th and 17th at Wallkill High School.
The VCMS Jazz Band, the VCMS Select Chorus, and the VCHS Symphonic Band all came away with Gold ratings, by demonstrating “an outstanding level of technical and artistic skill”. The VCHS Wind Ensemble earned the highest possible rating, Gold with Distinction, for achieving “a standard of performance deemed exceptional” in all three of their musical selections.
