VCSD Thanked for Providing Services to Our Community

We were recognized by The Prevention Team and the Mid-Hudson Prevention Resource Center (MHPRC) for our efforts to provide services to our community during the COVID-19 crisis!

We found this sign on the lawn of our Administration Building.

The Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of OC, the MHPRC, and OC Stop DWI started a Thank It Forward Campaign to show appreciation to all essential workers in the Mid-Hudson Region.

We thank all of our employees who have kept our district going especially our food service workers and volunteers, custodial and maintenance workers and all our faculty and staff that are keeping all our students engaged in learning!

We in turn moved the sign forward to Shoprite.

We wish we had more than just one sign to #thankitforward! We recognize the grocery workers who have been keeping the stores open for our community with this sign!

But we are also thankful for our local town and village governments and services like our police, fire, ems services, all of our restaurant workers, our foodbank volunteers, all of the healthcare workers and all the many other workers keeping our community going and everyone at home doing their part like our faculty, staff and our parents. Together we are #VIKINGSTRONG!
