John Marshall, a CBS-NY weatherperson
offered to do weather-centered science lessons for our elementary students and WES took him up on the offer through a virtual assembly over the course of two days for all students (hybrid, remote and online) grades K-2 and grades 3-5.
The assembly included lessons on the use of anemometers, extreme weather: hail, tornadoes and hurricanes, how green screens work and what it’s like to be a meteorologist/weatherperson.
Students enjoyed the presentation, especially the question/answer sessions with Mr. Marshall. Thanks for sharing your expertise with Walden Elementary!
