The VC Scholarship Council will host a Fall SAT Prep Class beginning Sept. 8 to help high school students improve their test-taking skills and raise scores on the newly formatted digital SAT exam.
The seven-session course, which runs through Oct. 20, is designed to prepare students for college entrance exams and increase their eligibility for scholarship opportunities.
The full schedule includes sessions from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m on Sept. 8, 9, 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6 and Oct. 20. The final class will run from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a pizza break and a test review from 7 to 9 p.m.
The cost of the course is $300 and includes text with practice exams. The program is recommended for students who have completed or are currently enrolled in Algebra II or Trigonometry R.
