August 2026 Regents Examinations
Important Information
The August 2026 Regents Examinations will be held at Valley Central High School, 1175 NY-17K, Montgomery, NY 12549.

Exam Schedule

Tuesday, August 18

8:00 AM: Algebra I; English Language Arts
12:00 PM: Global II; Algebra II; Geometry

Wednesday, August 19

8:00 AM: U.S. History; Earth & Space Sciences; Chemistry
12:00 PM: Life Science: Biology

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ – TESTING DAY INFORMATION

Please note: Students arriving for the August Regents must enter through the VCHS Pool Doors. There will be staff for arrival that will direct students to their assigned rooms on the day of testing.

Parking & Drop-Off: Transportation will not be provided for students taking Regents exams.

Students who are driving must park in student parking.
Drop-off is a “goodbye and go” process.
For everyone’s safety, please park in an available parking space and meet your child near the designated exit.
Do not stop or wait in the traffic lane, as this blocks the flow of traffic and delays dismissal.

Arrival Time: Students should arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of their scheduled exam.

Universal Admissions and Dismissal Times for Regents Exams:

Morning Regents Exams: The start time for AM Regents Exams is 8 a.m. As per the state Universal Admissions Deadline, students cannot be admitted after 10 a.m. Exam end time is 11 a.m. A student cannot be dismissed from a regents Exam before to 10 a.m.

Afternoon Regents Exams: The start time for PM Regents Exams is 12 p.m. As per the state Universal Admissions Deadline, students cannot be admitted after 2 p.m. Exam end time is 3 p.m. A student cannot be dismissed from a Regents Exam before to 2 p.m.

Cell Phones and Electronic Devices: Please remind your child(ren) that cell phones and any other electronic devices are not permitted in testing areas where a New York Assessment is being administered. Students are required to turn in their devices at check-in. All devices will be stored in a secured location and returned at the end of the exams.

Breakfast & lunch will not be provided.

Students taking multiple exams in one day should bring a light snack.
Students may bring a bottle of water; all other beverages are not permitted in the testing rooms.
