The Valkyries and Voxtones of Valley Central High School were selected to participate in the 2024 International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) Competition. Both groups submitted audition videos in November and were selected to participate in the Northeast Region. Their Quarterfinal date is scheduled for Friday, February 23, at the Experimental Media Performing Arts Center at RPI in Troy, NY, at 7pm.

This year, over 225 groups from high schools across 29 states are competing in the ICHSA Tournament. The Valkyries and Voxtones will be making their third straight appearance in the competition.
