Congratulations to Ava Carsley for qualifying for the NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 1500m. Ava won the qualifying race by over 10 seconds, securing a berth to the state meet. Catherine Primavera also qualified to represent Section 9 in the intersectional relay. Great job Ava and Catherine!
Congratulations to the Boys 4x200m relay team for winning the Section 9 State Qualifier Meet. The team of Shaun Brown, Azaziah Marshall, Kyle Grimaldi and Jude Remenar ran a school record of 1:33.00. They are the first Valley Central Boys Track and Field relay team to qualify for the state meet in 10 years! Azaziah Marshall also qualified individually in the 55m with a great performance.
