The Valley Central School District is pleased to accept the generous
donation of dictionaries from the Walden Rotary Club to all third graders.
This effort is part of a national effort called the National Dictionary
Project.
The dictionaries will be distributed by members of the Walden Rotary
Club at all of the District’s four elementary schools, as well as Most
Precious Blood School, during American Education Week. This effort
supports the broad English Language Arts standards set by the State
and Federal government and dovetails nicely with the Informational
Writing Initiative in the Valley Central Schools.
