Congratulations to VCHS Students James Quinn and Aurora Ullmeyer on Their Selection to participate in the Roger Rees Awards Next Step Nomination Process

The Valley Central High School Performing Arts are proud to celebrate James Quinn and Aurora Ullmeyer, two outstanding high school students who were selected to participate in the Roger Rees Awards Next Step Nomination Process on Sunday, May 3. Their selection came after a panel of adjudicators recognized the exceptional talent, dedication, and artistry they demonstrated as Jack Kelly and Katherine Plummer, respectively, in the school’s recent production of “Newsies.”

Both James and Aurora brought passion, professionalism, and unforgettable performances to the stage, representing our school community with excellence. Advancing to this next step is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the hard work they invested throughout the production process. They will participate in workshops and an audition process for the opportunity to perform at the Roger Rees Awards, a prestigious event that recognizes some of the top high school musical theatre students in the Hudson Valley, Westchester, New York City and Long Island.

Congratulations to James and Aurora on this exciting achievement! We look forward to seeing all they accomplish next. Bravo to these remarkable performers!
