Valley Central School District is proud to introduce Susan Kirk as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2026. She is ranked #2 in her class. We asked Susan some questions about her time at VC and her future plans and here are her answers:
Q: What honor societies are you a member of?
A: “Art Honor Society (NART), English Honor Society, Gradus Honoris, Social Studies Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and Science Research Program.”
Q: What clubs have you been involved with during your time in High School?
A: “Set Design, Cultural Diversity Club, and Science Olympiad.”
Q: What are your plans following High School? If college, which one do you plan to attend?
A: “Following high school, I will be attending the University at Albany and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in biology, after which I plan to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.”
Q: What are your hopes for your career plans?
A: “I plan to become a clinical psychologist and either work in family court or private practice, specializing in adolescent psychology. “
Q: What will you remember about your years spent at Valley Central?
A: “I will remember the support I received from faculty and staff members as well as the handful of very close friends I made.”
