Message from Superintendent, Evette Avila

It is a privilege to serve the students, families, and community in Valley Central School District.

My goal is to continue building on the district’s strengths while fostering new opportunities for our students. I have a relentless passion for ensuring that all students have an exceptional education and learning communities that elevate our students to excellence. Strengthening organizational trust, developing relationships with all stakeholders, maintaining ongoing open communication, and being visible in all facets of the district is highly important to me.

I will work diligently to lead an inclusive and engaging process to develop a shared vision for the future direction of the district that captures the core values and needs of the district and community. Together we will create a collaborative culture and collective accountability to accelerate achievement and ensure every school is an inspirational nurturing community that is dedicated to instilling values that promote respect for all people, develops critical thinkers, fosters a love for learning, eliminates any barriers to excellence for all, and does whatever it takes to develop empowered, resilient, kind global leaders, that successfully achieve and significantly contribute to this complex changing world.
