8414.5- Alcohol and Drug Testing of Bus Drivers

The Board of Education recognizes the dangers inherent in alcohol and controlled substance use by employees especially those in safety-sensitive positions. To ensure the safety of its students and in compliance with federal regulations, any company contracting with the district to provide transportation to district students is responsible for conducting alcohol and drug testing required under federal law and regulations.
