Valley Central High School Technology teacher, Nick Longo was invited to speak on WKIP radio this past weekend. Joining Nick was Goshen High School STEAM Teacher, Dillon Johnson. The two spoke about the second annual STEAM Day on October 29th, 2022 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Valley Central High School.
This year’s theme is Community and Manufacturing.
The free event will feature a helicopter landing, cars, trucks, and local manufacturing companies, technical schools, and more, that can offer our students great careers after high school, trade schools, and college.
STEAM Education, or Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math, promotes creative and critical thinking. Career opportunities may include graphic designer, scientific imaging, architect, forensic psychologist, photographer, website designer, and more.
