On Tuesday, June 1st, two lucky students from Walden Elementary School were Mayor of the Day and Deputy Mayor of the Day. Thank you, Mayor John Ramos and Deputy Mayor Willie Carter. For this wonderful opportunity.
The boys learned about the Village of Walden’s upcoming projects and were part of the Board Meeting. The boys earned this position by writing an essay about what they can do to make Walden a better place. 40 essays were submitted to the contest.
