VC Vikings are sweeping Section IX contests!
Gymnastics
The VC Gymnastics team completed their undefeated season in a row (the team was founded in 2022) and have won their second Section IX Team Champion title for the second year in a row!
Reilly Benson won the Section 9 Individual All-Around Champion title.
The following VC gymnasts who have qualified to represent Section IX in the State Championship which will be held on March 4th in Buffalo:

Wrestling
VC Wrestlers on a fantastic performance at this past weekend’s Section 9 Championships (2/11/2023).
Luke Satriano, and Richie Degon finished 1st place in their respective weight classes. They will move on to represent the Vikings and Section 9 at the New York State Tournament in Albany in two weeks!
Arica Pearson-Leary took 1st place and to Olivia Schmidt took 2nd place. They will go down in history for Valley Central’s FIRST-EVER female Section 9 Champs!
Nick Weeden and EJ Vass also placed 4th at the Sections Tournament in their respective weight classes.
