YOUR CHILD’S ATTENDANCE AND ILLNESS

It can be hard to know when to send children to school if they tell you that they do not feel well. We want to keep your child learning when feeling up to it, while keeping other students healthy, as well.

To return to school, they must be fever-free without the use of Tylenol/ Motrin (antipyretics), for 24 hours.

A note from your health care provider is not always necessary, but you should follow up with your health care provider if your child has worsening symptoms or is not getting better, is in severe pain, has an unknown rash, and / or continued vomiting and diarrhea.

PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL NURSE WITH ANY HEALTH CONCERNS OR QUESTIONS.  (845) 457 – 2400
