2019-2020 Classroom Supply Lists

We look forward to teaching and working with your children this year!

Kindergarten

  • 4 large Elmer’s disappearing purple glue sticks
  • 6 small Elmer’s disappearing purple glue sticks
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 container of baby wipes
  • 1 pack of Crayola basic color markers (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, brown)
  • 1- 24 pk. Crayola basic color Twistables
  • 1 full sized backpack (no wheels please)

  • 1 composition notebook
Mrs. Varley 
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 2 packages of baby wipes (alcohol and scent-free)
  • 2 packages of Ticonderoga pencils
  • 2 packages of 24 Crayola crayons. No Twistables, please
  • 2 packages of glue sticks
  • 1 composition book
  • 1 package of Expo dry erase markers
  • Headphones (can be purchased at a dollar store)
  • 1 package of paper plates
  • 1 package of napkins
  • 1 package of mixed plastic utensils

Grade 1

Wipes, tissues, dry erase markers and glue sticks are communal supplies and will need to be replenished throughout the year.

Grade 3

This is a generic Grade 3 list and not every teacher will use every item. Many of these items will need to be replenished throughout the school year.

  • 4 dry erase markers (Low Odor Only Please)
  • 20 pencils (# 2) sharpened with erasers (no mechanical pencils.)
  • 1 pack of eraser tops
  • 1 pack of index cards
  • 1 box of crayons or colored pencils (the 8 crayon box is plenty)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 box of tissues (unscented)
  • At least 2 yellow highlighters
  • 1 pencil pouch or box (when full pouch must fit inside desk.)
  • 5 Composition (marble) notebooks with student’s name in the following colors: black, red, blue, green and yellow
  • 1 pencil sharpener that collects shavings
  • 5 sturdy two-pocket folders labeled with student’s name in the following colors: red, blue, green, yellow and one fun one for homework and graded papers. Folders should not have the 3 ring clips.

Optional supplies

  • 1 container baby wipes
  • 2-4 extra marble or spiral notebooks

Grade 4

Your child will be switching classes this year and will need all of the supplies listed below. Their homeroom teacher is their Science and Social Studies teacher.

  • 2 dozen pencils  
  • 2 boxes of tissues                                 
  • 1 box of baby wipes
  • 2 two-pocket folders labeled with student’s name (any color/design)
  • 1 package of loose leaf
  • 1 pencil bag. Only bags that fit in the desk will be allowed and must fit the following:
    3-5 glue sticks
    1 highlighter
    1 pair of scissors
    1 box of crayons or colored pencils (a box of 8 is plenty)
    1 pencil sharpener that collects shavings
    Ear buds

      Band 

      The required book for all students is “Essential Elements Book 1.”
      Percussion students are to also purchase “Breeze Easy Book 1 for Drums. “

      • Flute:  Cleaning rod and cloth
      • Oboe: 2 ½ strength Fox Oboe Reed
      • Clarinet: 2 ½ strength reeds (Rico or Vandoren). Always have three extra working reeds in your case, cleaning swab, cork grease
      • Saxophone: 2 ½ strength reeds (Rico or Vandoren). Always have three extra working reeds in your case, cleaning swab, cork grease
      • Trumpet: Valve oil, cleaning cloth
      • Horn: Valve oil, cleaning cloth
      • Trombone:  Slide-O-Mix slide lubricant, small water spray bottle, cleaning cloth
      • Euphonium: Valve oil, cleaning cloth, mouthpiece pouch
        Tuba: Valve oil, cleaning cloth, mouthpiece pouch
