Walden Elementary 2024-25 Supply Lists

Kindergarten 

  • 4 large Elmer’s disappearing purple glue sticks 
  • 6 small Elmer’s disappearing purple glue sticks 
  • 1 box of tissues 
  • 1 container of baby wipes 
  • 1 pack of Crayola basic color markers (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, 
  • black, brown) 
  • 1- 8 pk. Crayola basic color Twistables 
  • 1 full sized backpack (no wheels please) 
  • 1 box black expo markers 
  • 2 thick yellow highlighters

  • 2 packages of Ticonderoga pencils Headphones (can be purchased at a dollar store) 1 package of paper plates 

First Grade

Please send these supplies in on the first day in a labeled gallon bag.

  • Crayola Twistables – 24 Count

  • 8 Glue Sticks*
  • 4 Pack of Fine Tip Dry Erase Markers
  • Pencils (regular yellow #2)*
  • Black Composition Notebook
  • Purple Composition Notebook
  • 2 Wide tip highlighters (yellow only)
  • Pack of ruled index cards
  • Wired headphones or earbuds (whichever your child prefers)
  • Labeled in a separate ziploc bag.

*Will need to be replenished throughout the year.*
A toolbox will be provided to each student from the classroom teacher.

  • 1 pack of pencils #2 (to be replenished as needed). No Mechanical Pencils
  • 1 box of crayons (the 8 crayon box)
  • 1 pack assorted color highlighters
  • 1 pencil pouch (Please make sure these fit into a desk. No toolboxes)
  • 3 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 pack of eraser tops
  • 1 box of tissues

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. deCastro ‘s Supply List

Your child will be switching classes this year.
Here is a list of supplies your child will need in order to be fully prepared for school. Please try to have these supplies by the first day of school.
*Additional supplies may be needed throughout the year.

deCastro: ELA and Science

  • 1 yellow two pocket folder
  • 1 one inch binder
  • 1 marble notebooks
  • 4 packs dry erase markers (thin are better)
  • 2 binder tab dividers (pockets are not needed)

Rodriguez: Math and Social Studies

  • 1 blue two pocket folder
  • 2 marble notebooks
  • 4 packs dry erase markers (thin are better)

All students will need the following:

  • 3 dozen pencils (no mechanical pencils please) One dozen to be kept at home.
  • 2 packages of loose leaf paper
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 2 highlighters
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 1 box of baby wipes
  • colored pencils (a box of 8 is plenty)
  • pencil sharpener (one that collects the shavings)
  • 1 pencil bag to hold pencils, colored pencils, scissors and glue sticks
  • 1 set of earbuds for computer-based learning
