Valley Central High School junior, Amelia, was selected from over a 1000 applicants nationwide to participate in the The Honors Performance Series by WorldStrides at Carnegie Hall at the beginning of February.
WorldStrides has showcased thousands of dedicated young performers on renowned stages across the world. Selected performers came together in New York City for several days of rehearsals with renowned conductors leading up to their life-changing performance at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. In addition to performance preparation, students got to network with peers and experience the sights and performance arts of New York City.
Amelia will also have the honor of playing again with this group in London this coming summer.
