Valley Central Middle School had two Teams compete in the Jr. Math Team League Finals lead by advisors Nicole Glodich and Kelly Chadwick this past Wednesday in Goshen. Team B consisting of Angela Barry, James Burns, Rachel Graizer, Arielle Jordan, Emily Quinn, and Catherine Vu took home the 1st place Trophy!! They clenched the title winning a nail biting relay! VC beat out Monroe-Woodbury, (the defending champs), Wallkill, and Monticello. They placed first out of 6 competing teams! Students were also given individual prizes, for answering over 50% of their questions correctly through out the season. Congratulations to Angela Barry for answering 71.4% correct, James Burns with 68.4%, Rachel Graizer and Jenna Lu both with 55.6% and Ryan Zheng with 50% correct. Congratulations to all on a great season!
