VCHS Seniors Recognized by Town of Wallkill

The Town of Wallkill celebrated Black History Month by recognizing outstanding students from around Orange County. Two Valley Central seniors were recognized at the event including Christina Thompson and Damian Pascal. Dr. Burns, VCHS Principal, was present to recognize the students and to hand them their certificates.

VC Runners Qualify for State Meet

Congratulations to Ava Carsley for qualifying for the NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 1500m. Ava won the qualifying race by over 10 seconds, securing a berth to the state meet. Berea Third Graders Give Flag Presentation

Berea 3rd graders gave a presentation at the BOE meeting Monday evening. The presentation was based on the work they had done in Social Studies class on flags. The students shared what they learned about flags and then shared the personal flags they created to represent their class.
